Various Passages In The Scriptures recount people asking the question "What must I do to be saved?" ( Acts 2:38, 8:36-38, Romans 6:3-4 ). As the scriptures recount, the answer was always same.To believe, confess Jesus as son of God, and baptized for the remission of sin. Many people of today view joining a church as though enrolling in a social club. They might ask about trips, luncheons, gymnasiums or other activities that would entice them to "join". They might even begin to attend the church based on it's physical size and architectural splendor. Jesus' life was dedicated to establishing a church that doesn't consist of physical walls. Because people have forgotten that original church, which consists of believers, not buildings, society has an array of denominations and religions that cater to just about everyone. In truth, the way to salvation is the same as it has always been. To believe, to confess Jesus as the son of God, and be baptized for the remission of sins.
